Dr. Quartell collaborates with nurse practitioner Marisa Buonanno Hamrah. Marisa Hamrah is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Women's Health.

Marisa received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Providence College in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University in May 2003. She began her nursing career at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. She spent three years as a staff nurse in the Urology and Kidney Transplant Unit. While continuing to work as a nurse, she earned a master's degree as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from Seton Hall University in May 2006. She joined Dr. Quartell in May 2007.

Marisa has received additional training in Urodynamics and Urogynecology. She is a committed and caring nurse who devotes herself to our Obstetrical, Gynecological, and Surgical patients. She especially enjoys educating and caring for our adolescent patients; addressing such issues as Sexually Transmitted Diseases, the HPV Vaccine, and maintaining good health.

When not spending time with her husband and daughter, Marisa enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling.
